Solent Fort tour went like a breeze...

12th July 2018

Wednesday 11th July apart from being another beautiful day on the South Coast was also a day of 40 Hampshire based property professionals taking a tour of No Mans Fort in the Solent.

A ferry which left from Gunwharf Quays took networkers out to the fort at midday where upon arrival Solent Forts put together a guided tour of this unique sea property. The fort built over 150 years ago for protection from French invasion has been used as an army fortress in World War 1 and World War 2. Then in 2009 work began on transforming No Man's Fort into a luxury hotel and it opened in 2012 for stays and day trips, and since then it has had many upgrades to make it an interesting and exciting property for people to visit.

A three course lunch was included in this tour where property goers had a chance to network with colleagues, clients and new contacts.

A ferry dropped everyone back to Gunwharf Quays for after 5pm leaving everyone enough time to get back and watch the football!

This venue is a fantastic place to visit and if lucky enough to get beautiful weather like today then it is worth you visiting! If you are interested in booking this tour for 2019 or similar events keep checking our events calendar or contact any committee members for more details.

The event also made a small surplus of £40 which is going to be donated to our chosen charity of the year; Society of St James.
