SUMMARY:78th Annual General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Dear Member \nWe are delighted to return once more to the beautiful surroundings of the University Officers’ mess in Carlton Place for the SPA 2025 AGM. \nI therefore give formal notice of the 78th Annual General Meeting of Southampton Property Association to be held at 6.30 pm on Monday\, 20th January 2025 at the University of Southampton Officers’ Training Corps building\, 32 Carlton Place\, Southampton SO15 2DX.  \nThe customary drinks reception is at 5.30 pm with the AGM at 6.30 pm.  Professor Helen Carr of Southampton University will deliver a CPD talk at 7.00 pm\, and we close proceedings with the declaration of the ballot for the 2025 committee.   All timings are of course approximate. \nThere is no charge to members for the evening\, but because of the sensitivity of the location members need to advise that they are to attend using the Eventbrite link please. \nhttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/78th-annual-general-meeting-of-southampton-property-association-tickets-1137546414949?aff=oddtdtcreator \nRegrettably\, we may be unable to admit those who have not done so\, or indeed should the number proposing to attend reach the building’s authorised capacity. \nA secret ballot for 12 committee places will be held at the AGM and only those members present at the AGM can vote.  No proxy votes will be accepted. \nThe AGM Agenda and the minutes of last year’s AGM are enclosed.  I do hope you will be able to attend. \nYours sincerely \n  \nChris Clark BSc FRICS MCIArb \nSPA Honorary Secretary \n77th AGM minutes \n78th AGM Agenda 2025
