DESCRIPTION:Join the Southampton Property Association for a relaxed 1.5-mile evening walk around Highfield\, exploring the work and legacy of one of Southampton’s most influential architects and planners\, Herbert Collins. \nStarting at 18.00pm\, we’ll meet on Brookvale Road\, near the post box on the corner of Highfield Lane\, before setting off around the Uplands Estate and surrounding area. \nAlong the way\, we’ll point out some of Collins’ distinctive buildings and share interesting facts about Herbert Collins and his family\, who played a significant role in shaping this part of Southampton. \nMEETING POINT: Brookvale Road / Highfield Lane\nTIME: 6.00pm – 7.30pm\nDISTANCE: Approx. 1.5 miles\nTICKET: £5\, including a post-walk drink at The Crown\, Highfield\nPARKING: Plenty of street parking is available nearby. \nBook your place via the link: Herbert Collins Netwalking Event \nIt’s a great opportunity to get outside\, discover a little more about Southampton’s architectural heritage and\, of course\, network with fellow property professionals along the way. \nAll proceeds go to the SPA’s chosen charity\, Imagine This. \n
