Property professionals serve up tennis excellence

19th October 2016

ACES: Competitors take part in the Solent Property Professionals Tennis Tournament, held at Lee-on-the-Solent Tennis, Squash & Fitness Club, near Gosport. The annual event was organised by independent commercial property consultancy Hughes Ellard. Matches were overseen by the club’s director of tennis, Matt Rogers, pictured front right.

CONGRATULATIONS: The finalists. Kevin Stansfield, the managing director of ActionCOACH Solent, far right, and Tim Clark, the retail space director at independent commercial property consultancy Hughes Ellard, won the annual Solent Property Professionals Tennis Tournament, held at Lee-on-the-Solent Tennis, Squash & Fitness Club, near Gosport. Their opponents in the doubles competition, which attracted nearly 30 people, were Russell Mogridge, left, a director at Hughes Ellard, and Helen Thorpe from the Winchester office of accountancy Wilkins Kennedy.

They might not have been up to the world-beating standard of our British champion Andy Murray but their tennis prowess still served to impress.

Russell said: “It was an excellent event, combining fitness, networking and good-natured rivalry, and a presentation raffle raised £165 for Smiles4Wessex, which supports the superb work at the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton.”
