Sponsorship Opportunities

Friday Frolics:

The idea of a lunchtime social was allegedly the brainchild of Russell Mogridge, then of Hughes Ellard, and James Prowse, of Atis Real. The inaugural event was held on Friday 13th May 2005 at Apartment 26 in Bedford Place when some 30 bon viveurs joined their fellow business compatriates to chew the fat over beer and wine, sponsored by the Commercial Property Register.

By September of that year it had been christened Friday Frolics and not only has the name stuck, but in the intervening years it has become a beloved institution amongst the property professionals of Southampton and District.

The pandemic naturally put a stop to our gatherings and despite experimenting with Frolics via Zoom somehow it didn't have the pizzazz of a live event. Thankfully, however, normal service has been resumed and bookings, secured by a £500 deposit, are coming in quickly now that sponsors, whether they be developers, surveyors, solicitors, accountants, fit-out contractors or whoever, are keen to get their message across to the membership that they are back in business with a bang.

Typically these days a minimum Frolics spend is around £1,200 to cover drinks and food and we are happy for sponsors to select a venue of their choosing if it is a particular favourite, and of course, if you wish to invite a plethora of clients we are fine with an increased budget to cover them too.
