Join the Southampton Property Association for a relaxed 1.5-mile evening walk around Highfield, exploring the work and legacy of one of Southampton’s most influential architects and planners, Herbert Collins. Starting at 18.00pm, we’ll meet on Brookvale Road, near the post box on the corner of Highfield Lane, before setting off around the Uplands Estate and surrounding area. Along the way, we’ll point out some of Collins’ distinctive buildings and share interesting facts about Herbert Collins and his family, who played a significant role in shaping this part of Southampton. MEETING POINT: Brookvale Road / Highfield Lane TIME: 6.00pm - 7.30pm DISTANCE: Approx. 1.5 miles TICKET: £5, including a post-walk drink at The Crown, Highfield PARKING: Plenty of street parking is available nearby.
